Fave Five By Meagan Dwyer of Meagan Dwyer Photography

If you have never heard of Meagan Dwyer, then my friend you have been hiding under a rock!! Meagan has so much passion pouring out of her it is
infectious. First let us talk about Meagan`s work. She likes to document
stories, memories, feelings and emotion. When you view her work you don`t just see it, you literally feel it. I have had the pleasure of seeing Meagan`s work in my news feed for some time now and I rather look forward to
seeing what she is going to shoot next.
I have known Meagan for well over a year now, and feel so blessed to have
developed a close friendship with her. It all started with her just commenting
and liking a lot of my work, then one day just messaging me to tell me how
wonderful I am. WHO DOES THAT. She does, she is sweet to the core.
And supports many artists new, old you name them, she supports them.
Just the other day she sent me a link saying, OMG check it out you made top 10 blog with one of my fave images of yours...... well after I checked the blog I saw she was featured as well, but she didn`t even notice because she
was too overjoyed at my win. That is why I LOVE this lady.
If you have not seen her work, jump on over to her page in the link above or just take a look at her fave 5 images below.

Change of Seasons & Fave Five with Tammy Davis Photography

We are playing catch up here at CLICK{STYLE}
A few weeks back we had Tammy Davis Photography
in to host a week theme.
She picked the {change of seasons}, and it was a great
week to host that theme, with the changes of seasons
most of us were seeing in our hometowns.

Top 5 winners of {change of season}

Fave Five By Tammy Davis Photography

I have always loved the work from Tammy! Life has taken her photography
down a different path and she has found the value in capturing
the lifestyle moments. I have been following this documenting along with her, and you see such bravery in her daughter Paige, and she always wear a smile. Every time I see Paige bravery I always think she must get that from her Mama. It is very brave for Tammy to document this journey and then
to share her story with everyone around. I feel very honored to get a glimpse into such a personal time for her and her family.  You are amazing Tammy!!

Here is a what Tammy had to say!

Since my daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia in April, my vision has really changed. I've started taking more of a lifestyle approach, as I've come to understand how important those every day moments are...not just the pretty posed ones. I now make it my goal to capture the real moments, the raw emotion between family members...whether shooting for myself or for clients.
As I've taken a hiatus from client sessions to care for my daughter, my fave five are of my own family, of our moments, of the fun and love we share. I can honestly say that keeping a personal photo journal has opened my eyes..and allowed me to see deeper than just the smiles worn for photos. I can't wait to capture THOSE kinds of moments for my clients now...real connection. When life returns to normal.

Oh the places you will go & Fave Five with My Captured Life

We were so excited to have Shelley from
over at {CLICK}STYLE to guest judge.
She picked the fantastic theme of
{oh the places you will go}
We saw so many amazing images that week, we
know this theme would be a blast.

Top 4 winners of {oh the places you will go}

Fave Five by Shelley Reis of My Captured Life

From the moment I found Shelley's work I knew I was going to be a big fan of hers.
She has a way like no other of combing everyday moments and artistic details.
And she might just have the cutest kids around!!
If you don't already know her work, jump over to her page and give leave her
some love.

Perhaps I love the story behind this one more than the photo itself but I just had to include it. My son, 4, was so worried about his little sister that he waded out with his shoes still on to make sure that his fearless, part-Mermaid sister was safe as she ventured out to watch the seagulls. This is a big deal for a kid who's scared of water. It just goes to show the bond of siblings.

I chose this image because I call myself a documentary photographer and so many of my images are of life's ordinary moments. I love taking the mundane and turning it into something artistic so I just had to pick one of my favourite 'ordinary moments'. While we were rushing around trying to get everyone dressed and ready for the day I spotted my son bouncing, 4,  completely carefree up and down the hall. He had been sent to his room to find shoes to wear. For no particular reason on this warm, dry day he chose gumboots. Yes, this is four.

I am a advocate for the self portrait. It's only been in the last year that I realised I had so few photos of myself and began on a mission to get in front of the camera more often. In this particular instance it was my daughter's first birthday and I wanted something special to remember the day by.

I just had to include this image because it is one of the very first images I took that I was truly proud of in every way. I also just love the pure joy of my boy, then 3, swinging under the sprinkler on a hot Summer's Day with not a care in the world.

I am a sucker for the details so had to include a details image in my favourite five. I just love this image - the contrast between my partner's manly hands and my daughter's soft, petite toddler hands makes my heart swell.

Fave Five by Kelly Jacobi of Kelly Jacobi Photography

I am such a big fan of Kelly Jacobi's work. Her work alone with just her black n whites are enough to stop you in your tracks and take notice. I can usually pick her work out of a news feed line up without even reading that it was her who posted.
Chance are if you see a beautifully converted bw and full of
emotions, then you are seeing her work!
If you have not seen her work, jump on over to her link above and
take a browse or check out her eye candy below she is sharing with us today!
Here is what Kelly had to say:

I absolutely loved seeing everyone's unique take on the shooting through theme! It's amazing the possibilities that are opened when you look for a new perspective.
I'm now halfway through my second 365 project. And even though we switch it up every now and again, everyday life can look much the same at a quick glance. What I love about shooting through is it gives me a new way to tell my story. Shooting through can turn an everyday moment into art. It can completely change the mood or enhance the feeling of what I am shooting. Anytime I am in a creative rut I try to remind myself to find a new perspective, look for something in a way I haven't seen it before.
