{Motion}

Last week we at {CLICK}STYLE were so excited to have
Ken from kgPhotography in as guest judge.
He picked an awesome theme {motion}.
I still can not believe the amount of talent that posts to our page,
you all make the judges sweat every week, and poor Ken was no
exception, he found it a hard choice as well.

Here are the top 5, in no particular order

I LOVE the dark moodiness of this image and the focus is on the motion of her hair. Stunning image!

 The warm colors and just overall playfulness of this image spoke to me. The motion of the leaves, her dress and hair..amazing!

 The splendid colors and the place it takes me back into my own childhood makes this a favorite for me. The sheer joy on the little girls face is wonderful!

 Dancers are some of my favorite subjects to shoot and this one is great! The pocket of light on the subject and the way she shines is perfect.

The imperfections of this image, the blown sky and the light shining thru her hair is amazing in Amber's image here. Huge fan of her work!

This was NOT an easy job this week and congrats to all that submitted and especially to the featured photographers!

Fave Five : kgPhotography

This week at {CLICK}STYLE we have the honor of having

His work is stunning, gorgeous, beautiful and full of soul.
I have been following his work for sometime now, and
each piece of art he producing is amazing.
You can also find him among a few FB groups, were he
has to be one of the most supportive kindness photog.
If you don't already know his work check out the link to his
Facebook page above.

Here is a bit about Ken, and his Fave Five.

My name is Ken Gehring, 48 years old and a father of 2. I have recently relocated to Benton, Arkansas. I have always had an interest in photography but never really pursued it until several years ago when some personal issues arose and I went thru a very difficult and trying time in my life. I had bought a Canon Rebel for myself and decided that I needed a distraction from all the negatives in my life, so I picked up my camera and started shooting. 5 years later, here we are. I love what I do.

My most favorite image is the portrait taken of my mother a couple of years ago. My mom has always been a strong spiritual woman and I can remember as a child hearing her prayers for us for God's protection. As and adult I still know, although can't always hear it, that she is praying for me and my family.

This image is of my niece Jessica, my muse. It was her beauty and drive to model that caused me to pick up the camera in the first place. We set out to change the world! Not sure that we changed the world any, but each time I work with her I am again inspired to create art instead of just portraits.

 This piece is of my youngest son Harley. It was the first time that I had shot him and at the time I felt that our lives were out of control and that I needed to do a better job of protecting him. We was dying to try on the gas mask and play with it so I grabbed my camera and shot a few frames. The sadness and lost innocence in his eyes is what drew me into this image. I have this image printed out on canvas in his room. Of all the images of him, this is my favorite.

This image was one of my very first "conceptual" shoots. It is my most celebrated image and was the shoot that got me noticed in the photography art world. We did hair and makeup for my niece Jessica and for our little model Kenzie. When Kenzie saw Jessica in full makeup and wardrobe, she got a little scared. We assured her and got some amazing images that days. This was shot at the end of the day and the wind was blowing fierce. She picked up the flowers and was standing in the wind and I shot a few frames. The resulting image was stunning.

This image is of my other niece Megan. She wanted to do something "fantasy" so we dressed her up and I took her to a local farmers pumpkin patch and shot our interpretation of Cinderella. It was my first image accepted by Vogue Italia.

Fave Five: True Reflections by Shauna Lee

This week we have our very own Shauna from  {CLICK}STYLE
as guest judge.
To see more of Shauna's work you can visit her FB page at
I have had the pleasure of knowing Shauna for 4 years now, we met
on a FB page and then wound up in a group together becoming good friends.
I have enjoyed getting to see her work everyday in my news feed.
Her work is wonderful, from her lifestyle capturing
her grandkids, to the outdoor/ nature images she
captures.

Here are Shauna's Fave Five.

The reason I picked these top five photos are the reason I pick up my camera in the first place. The love of my family and capturing those moments that pull on my heart strings. I could pick so many more as my favorites, but these are all recent ones. The first photo is of my Evelyn Rose and she has autism, so each time she looks at me is priceless and special. The second photo is of Evelyn and her Daddy saying good bye as he was being deployed for a few months. The love between the two amazes me. The third one is of my grandson Conner looking out at the ocean, this little guy is so full of energy and when I can catch him being still is priceless. The fourth photo is of my daughter and seeing her being a Mom is truly magical to me, so I had to edit in a little magic of my own. The last one is of Conner and his big blue eyes, but more than that you can see that sparkling personality and his love he has for me. To be a Nana is really what matters the most to me and the reason for my passion in photography is the love of my family.

{follow your dreams} & Fave Five:Social Butterfly Creations

Last week here at {CLICK}STYLE we had in Sherrie from
Our blog was down and we also missed out on posting Sherrie's fave five. I met Sherrie years ago on a Photography page, and got to know her better in a group. She is extremely talented,
 and I owe a lot if what I know on composites to her!
Today's blog is her gorgeous fave five and the top 5 she picked
for the {follow your dreams}

Here is Sherrie's Fave Five

Here are the top 5 for {Follow you dreams}

This photo tells me that this little girls possibilities are endless – the world is wide open for her to follow her dreams – right over the rainbow. (and the little red shoes on the yellowed grass is terrific)

Such a serious little boy with such a sense of wonder in his eyes. You can’t help but wonder what he’s looking for.

 The littlest ballerina is soaking it all in and trying her best to be like the older. Her dreams are right in front of her. They are both going to cherish this photo

The mood and colors of this shot go perfectly with the theme of this photo. (I happen to live with Harry Potter & Ron Weasley and I understand the dreams of magical boys )

I love love love this photo! It’s my favorite. The expressions on both is perfect. Little one is dreaming of her wedding and wearing a beautiful dress, grandma is dreaming of her wedding and looking at the little one with such pride. It’s a priceless heirloom photo.

Join us this week at {CLICK}STYLE with our guest judge
for our {Flawed} theme.
