And then I smiled & Fave Five with Jenny Gildea Photography

We had the pleasure of having the AWESOME
in to guest judge for a week.
She choose a really good theme
{And then I smiled}
I have to say it was amazing getting to see all the images
you have captured that brought a smile to your face.
It sure brought a smile to us here at {C}S.

Here are the top 5 in no particular order!

Are you ready to see some nice eye candy. Jenny has picked Five of her Fave images
to share with us today, as well as a little insight into what it
is about her images that stand out to her.
I have followed her work for some time now, and I must say she has
a knack for clicking that button at just the right time, all of her
images are AMAZING. She even has one extra bonus fave to share
with us today, it meant to much to be left out!
If you don't already know her work just click on the link below and it
will take you right to her FB page!!

It was so fun to see everyones photos that makes them smile! They are my absolute favorite kind. Sometimes one makes me smile inside and feel the moment again, one that would have otherwise been lost, and for someone else they wonder why I even care about it. That is why I love photography. It is an emotional connection special to the viewer that can't be duplicated another way. So, here are some of my favorite "And Then I Smiled" photos to share with you.

I can barely stand the cuteness here! First off, all three of them in one frame PLUS an ocean! Double bonus. To top it off the little is bursting with joy. She will never be this small again. They will never be these ages again holding hands playing ring-around-the-rosies. Now I'll always have it, even though they keep on growing.

She would put this boat in the water and as it drifted up with the waves she would chase it and catch it, smiling and content. The light here makes my heart sing. The friends in the background make me feel lucky.

I knew I would love this spinning photo the instant I took it. My little loves this dress and insists on wearing it every week to church. All because it spins so well. I love the movement here, the glorious light, and the yummy bokeh. All wrapping up the love that a little princess has to spin and spin.

The light here is so lovely to me and instantly makes me smile. Place some bonding family members in there and I call it magic.

I am in love with the beach and ocean. Just being there makes me smile. I shot this with my lensbaby and love the effect it gave of a lone girl taking in all the beauty the beach has to offer. She looks so small against the great big world.

I have never met a kid that blinks in as many photos as this girl. I instantly smiled when I took this. The closed eyes, the puckered strawberry stained lips, the blowing hair, the perspective, and the bokeh! It all comes together to make me smile because it shows her personality perfectly!

Thank you for having me Click Style! It was an honor to be part of your lovely page for the week!

Jenny

Love her but keep her wild & Under the Willow Tree Photography.

Last week at {CLICK}STYLE we had
She picked an amazing quote to inspire us and that it did.
You all blow us away with your images and I can't image
it was an easy task to narrow those down.

Here are the top 5, in no particular order.

Now to take a look at the fave five images of Jayne's work she has chosen to share with us today.
As you can see from her images her talent is AMAZING, from the moment
I first starting seeing her work in my news feed I was hooked on her images. They are real, emotional and wonderful. If you don't already know her work click on the link to check her out.
 HERE
Here is what she had to say.

I have been fortunate enough to do a few guest judging in the past and it seems I am always posting my favorite personal images. This time of year I rarely have time for personal shooting so, I thought I would pick 5 recent favorites from my client based shoots.

I really enjoy these images for the natural aspect of them. I am so happy that my work is recognized locally for this style. I always have clients commenting how they enjoy the capture of the moment, the real one, where their child is just being a child. These memories are ones we see every day and should be the ones we cherish and showcase in our homes. I rarely go to a shoot with a plan. Anyone who has kids knows that planning and children, do not go hand in hand. I always spend the first few minutes letting the child get comfortable with me, then place them in an area of interest and let them make the image for me.  I will surely miss these summer evenings of golden light and water play.

Last week at {CLICK}STYLE we had a wonderful {simple pleasures} theme
hosted by Dana of Performer Photography.

then wonderful memories"

Here are the top 5, in no particular order.

Dana is a wonderful artist. I have followed her work for some time now

 her a LIKE

This is a new favorite image of my daughter running through a sunflower field at sunset. We had the absolute best time as a family, and all that delicious golden light doesn't hurt either!

A portrait of my daughter. I loved the window light on her face and instantly knew the processing had to be in B&W. Here, she is waiting to see bunny rabbits in our backyard.

This image is meaningful to me, as it is my father holding my daughter. Even when my father was sick with cancer, he was still a symbol of strength for us, and a reminder that no matter what, he will always protect us.

I love that my husband and daughter are always in sync with each other. From their hearts right down to their steps. They are my everything.

This was one of my first attempts at free lensing, and I love the soft and dreamy look of it.

You will not be disappointed

This is one of my favorites for all the tiny details captured in such a short moment & it was our 1st year for strawberries to come up in our garden.

This one of my personal faves. As soon as I saw it in camera I couldn't wait to play with the edit. I love how serene & peaceful she looks.

I mean it's golden hour, freelensed & OOF everything i love & this is literally sooc.

One of my FAVORITE things to do is turn flowers into black & white.

This was taken the same evening as the other swing shot above. Golden hour was diminishing, so I had fun with more freelensing & silhouettes. I really love the dreamy feel to freelensed & oof images.
